Eri & Robert had only a few requirements for their wedding day: a hacienda wedding full of elegance where their friends and family could enjoy the weekend. They had family traveling from Australia, Japan, Spain, and across the United States, so it was essential for them that the destination resort was charming and relaxed all at once. They found Hacienda Xcanatun, an exclusive hotel 10 minutes from Merida, Yucatan. Xcanatun has a lovely old-world feeling that takes you back in time, and the property was so quiet that you could hear the live harp music playing in the background. It felt so romantic, watching the sun go down and bathe the bride and groom in beautiful sunset light as they said their vows.
